Since its inception, the winners of Agency of the Year have always won based on one constant: the agency preferences of client marketers. The first Awards presentation was held in 2010 in Singapore when agency professionals first came together to celebrate the best of the best according to the people that really matter; their clients.
This year, the Agency of the Year Awards marks its fourth year in Malaysia.
Unlike the previous editions where the finalists were determined through a survey ranking, this year’s Awards gives agencies the opportunity to enter and nominate themselves in order to be in the running for the title. This will allow greater participation from more agencies based in Malaysia.
Agencies are invited to submit entries in the Awards, and will be judged based on criteria that covers everything, from business performance to staff turnover. Staying true to the Awards’ mission, the entries will be judged by a jury comprising entirely of respected senior client-side marketers based in Malaysia.
There is also the MARKies which evaluates individual entries focusing on campaigns, creative ideas or the innovative use of media.
